CS5 Serial# 16 and not 24 digits

My now old but still good CS5 has been part of my recovery of my MacBook and now Adobe Creative Suit 5 Master is asking for my Serial Number, I have put in the 16 which were the original but it wants now 24 digits, so I wonder if anyone can help, as it is older version, but like some old cars, it is all I need and use when I need to, and it makes me sad that I can not yet have again access to it...

I do not wish to pay for a new one I can own or use on the www, as I also have CS3 which I have not used for a long time.

Please note, a long time has gone by, and my service provider had changed its name twice in the last decades, and my old OWNERSHIP records may be found somewhere at Adobe.com but I first became a Mac user in 1984 and a client of Adobe in 1986 or just after...

If you registered the serial number at the time it should be possible to find it. Please refer to the following document.

Thanks, but the problem with not answering a simple question by referring me to search through a maze of assumed predicted solutions to this specific problem, is not helpful, as my question already state the reasons why after I already did all that is suggested at the link, the problem is that my 16 digits is not a 24 digits now expected for activating the use of the software I already own and have on my computer.

My relatively new account with Adobe is due to the fact that my original emails had been changed by my original service provider twice in the last 33 years, so all I have is the activation number which I can share in private (email) if needed in case Adobe can verify it or let me know how to reactivate my now old CS5 on my old but current computer.

My relatively new account with Adobe does not recognize any of the past records on my original IDs (One of the original emails may be still active but the servers are being replaced and set to be off-line by the Canadian service provider)

Been there, same endless referrals, nothing yet by way of help - but as I found a way to re-register from the application Dreamweaver, so it may now show on my new profile, but the problem stays, and as I am in Israel and not in Victoria BC, it is a problem to simply email or get real personal help, and not endless links....

I shall get to it when I can, again
