Deployment question for Adobe Photoshop CC-Scratch Disks

Hi all.  We have been deploying the Master Collection (Photoshop and Premiere), but run into the issue on the PC of Scratch Disks and savings.  By default, both programs will set the default location of the My Documents folder.  In our school district, we enforce folder redirection so My documents is routed to the server.  The problem comes when a student will create (or edit) an image, and the caching is set to the server, so we expreience high network utilization at that time.  Not a big issue with 1, but a group causes major issues.  Is there a device preference that could be deployed to 1) set the scratch disk to the D drive (each of our PC's that are using this have a partition available to the student) and 2) force the save location to always start with the D drive?

    Make the change then copy the prefs file to the machine.

    Ok.  That will then work for all users (including current users with profiles/new users?  Secondly, which xml file would need to be copied for this?  Thanks for the response!

    You would need to make sure you were overwriting the existing prefs for existing users, that should be scriptable.

    The relevant file is MachinePrefs.psp

    Hi,

    The scratch disks can be changed within the Photoshop Preferences.

    Yes - we are aware of where and how it can be changed on a per user basis - we are looking to have the preference set to automatically go to the D drive for each user (Active Directory used here).
