Enable specific Partner models in Adobe products

New Here ,
Oct 07, 2025 Oct 07, 2025

Is there a way, from an admin level, select which third party models we would like enabled?

Or is it the case if we enable this, all third party models selected by adobe will be accessible by users?

Hi @Dreamy_Euphoria5438,

Thank you for reaching out.

The setting for partner models in the Adobe Admin Console is managed through a single toggle that applies organization-wide. When this setting is enabled, all available partner models from Adobe become visible to users. If it’s turned off, none of the models are displayed.

The ability to selectively enable or restrict individual third-party models is currently unavailable.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

^BS

Hi @cholubaz,
Thanks for reaching out. As checked, you have an active Teams plan associated with the Adobe ID used to post this query. Please note that the option to allow or restrict access to non-Adobe generative AI models within Adobe apps and tools is available only for Enterprise customers. Could you please confirm the specific issue you’re facing, are you trying to disable this feature for your end users?

Hope this helps.

Regards,
^AN

Hi @cholubaz,

Could you please ask your user to follow the steps outlined in this article: https://adobe.ly/4n12ICP

While selecting the non-Adobe models, if they encounter any error, please have them share a screenshot of the message they see.

Regards,

^AN

I am currently having the same issue and trying to assist IT in getting to the bottom of it.

If I try and generate in Firefly using Firefly 5 I get

In Photoshop, if I try to use Filter > AI Denoise (Topaz), for example, I get

IT are unsure how to resolve this and I feel I'm going round in circles trying to determine the info on adobe.com about accounts, premium credits and such like, to no avail.

Can you advise on what needs to be done?

Thanks

Hi @Jonathan5F94,

Thanks for reaching out. I’ve reviewed your account and can confirm that you have an active enterprise license associated with the Adobe ID used to post this query.

From your message, it appears that you are unable to generate images in Firefly using the Firefly Image 5 model, and you are also unable to use AI Denoise with Topaz Labs in the Photoshop app. Please confirm if these are the issues you need assistance with.

Upon checking, I can also see that your admin has assigned you the Creative Cloud All Apps – Team Education plan. Please note that this plan includes access only to Standard Generative AI feature types. You can review more information about this here:
https://adobe.ly/3LZGjck

Both Firefly Image 5 generation and AI Denoise with Topaz Labs in Photoshop fall under Premium generative features. For more details, please see the following document:
https://adobe.ly/3LW4qZu

This is why you are currently unable to use these specific features.

If you would like to verify which Generative AI feature types you have access to, please refer to this page:
https://adobe.ly/48vQttT

I hope this clarifies the situation. Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Regards,
^AN

Thanks for the swift response.

The 'Creative Cloud All Apps – Team Education plan' is not listed on the page you linked to. I see similar but not this one. This is part of the difficulty in understanding what needs to be upgraded to access premium functionality.

Can you clarify and what the simplest/cheapest option is to use the premium features. I'm currently only wanting to test before considering expanding to the wider team.

Hi @Jonathan5F94,

Thank you for checking this. You are currently assigned the Student Teacher Edition Creative Cloud All Apps plan, which is similar to the Creative Cloud All Apps – Team Education plan. To verify your generative feature access, please log in to https://adobe.ly/48xPRE8
Once logged in, click on your profile picture. Under your account details, you will be able to view the generative features available to you. With your current plan, you will only have access to standard generative features.

If you would like to use premium features, you will need to contact your university administrator. Since your institution owns the license and manages the contract, they can choose to purchase and assign either a Firefly Pro license or a Creative Cloud Pro for Students and Teachers license to users who require premium access.

For more information, refer to the following resources:

Firefly plans and feature comparison: https://adobe.ly/3Xfl74E

How to contact your administrator: https://adobe.ly/43L9vdk

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to let us know.

Regards,
^AN
