macOS Create Cloud app hammering DNS for polka.typekit.com

We subscribe to Creative Cloud here at the university I work at. I've noticed several computers (including my own) hammering our DNS servers for the DNS name of polka.typekit.com.  So far I've determined it is macOS computers logged into Creative Cloud.  To verfiy I logged out of the Creative Cloud app and after a minute or so the DNS requests stopped.  I logged back in the after a few minutes it starts up again.  Several machines are exhibiting this behavior each doing roughly 20,000,000 request in 24 hours.  Anyone else notice this?

That's a lot of requests. The server is used to deliver fonts to web pages and apps. I wonder if the requests are being resolved? If you block them or don't allow connection to resolution, this will surely happen.

I'm going to block them and see what happens.

If lookup is working a command prompt should look something like this:

nslookup polka.typekit.com
Server: ubnt
Address: <your DNS server>

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: polka.typekit.com
Addresses: 3.221.141.237
52.22.119.135
3.217.166.173
34.203.175.187

Not blocking. It resolves.

Over a year since you posted but yeah, same thing here. Any cloud client is blasting polka.typekit.com.
