Adobe CC installed itself on my desktop... but I want it removed!

I did not ask for it and do not want it. I have desktop versions of Lightroom and Photoshop and do not require anything else. How do I remove CC? It will not allow me to uninstall it via Contorl Panel in Windows 7 and when I run the application is says I have CC versions of software, but I do not. I have desktop versions. Please assist in telling me how to remove this nuisance.
