I have an old version of Dreamweaver CS3 which I installed on a Windows XP system and registered. All went well. Last summer I purchased a new system and installed DW on it. I had an activation or registration issue, can't recall which, but through a telephone session was able to get it working.
Just a couple weeks ago it gave me a warning that I needed to register it. I started it and selected Help > Registration. (The Activate menu item was grayed out, showing it is still activated.) I get the message that it cannot connect to the Internet. I'm always connected, and DW can upload and download files, so it's something other than a connectivity issue. I'm given 3 options: Never Register, Register Later, and Register Now. Register Now gives the same error, and I don't want to use Never Register in case that invalidates my action. I clicked Register Later and was able to use it. Below my sig is a screenshot of the error message.
I'm concerned that I'm now just on a trial period and this will stop working later on.
Q1: Is this a problem I need to fix? That is, if I do nothing, can I continue to use DW for the life of my system? If this needs fixing, see Q2.
Q2: How to I register this product? I registered it once before, from teh old system; I hope this hasn't caused a problem. Cannot use old system, btw, so deactivating it from there isn't an option. Activation seems to have worked last time I tried, though; it's just the registration that's a problem.
I still have the original box and CD, if that helps.

Larry the registration server for Creative Suite 3 was shut down a long time ago after the ability to register the software on http://www.adobe.com/ was added. The error message you posted is not related to activation Creative Suite 3. If you click on Never Register you should no longer receive this prompt.
