I'm reaching out to the Adobe community to gather support for reinstating the Essential Graphics panel in Adobe Premiere Pro 2025.The removal of this feature has disrupted many users' workflows, including mine. I relied on Text templates for efficient editing, and the new Properties Panel does not offer the same functionality. This change has made managing text updates cumbersome. If you share my concerns, please take a moment to vote for the return of the Essential Graphics panel. Your support can help us advocate for this essential feature that many of us depend on for our projects.Thank you for your understanding and support!

Hi @Mattanee29055608b5ub,

I agree that the new panel is a little confusing. Once I docked it with the Graphics Template panel and created a new custom workspace I named "Properties," I can access most things and work as I did with the Essential Graphics panel. A few more clicks here and there, but also more functionality. It's going to take time to get used to, but I do not see the team "bringing back" this formerly used panel. I'll upvote, though, since a number of others are not embracing the

All previous functions are actually still available. Just accessed differently. You have to select items very specifically to get the controls.

But even rolls are still "there". Everything. Not my favorite layout either but oh well.

@Mattanee29055608b5ub - You have to select the 'Window' tab at the top and then 'Properties' to get the text pannel, where you can change the size/font etc.

I was looking ages for 'Essential graphics panel' too. Wish they revert back as that was far easier.

The Properties panel is "context aware" ... meaning it completely changes based on what is currently selected.

If you click in general on a clip on a sequence, it will show the clip properties. If you click on the text box in a graphic, you fet the full controls for text and shape work.

It's very confusing at first.

It is kinda hard to figure out at first.

That said, when people get used to it, it is actually faster to use, and requires fewer custom workspaces. I'm in the process of figuring out which of my nine custom workspaces I need to keep. Even the ones I keep I'll modify some.

All Text and graphic controls are in the new PROPERTIES panel and the Templates are now in their own dedicated panel. Same , just split into two.

I honestly hate the new UI. It's not intuitive at all.

This is just another reason why I won't be updating.
