Separate u and v tiling in Material options or squeeze the preview palne gizmo.

Please ,do it like in Sampler .     So when I do 256x2k texture  I could use just hires plane   and not wasting my time to import specific mesh and switch back in forth from 3d package and  Designer  just to test  how V repeating only looks .    Or maybe just a  scale gizmo for the plane  so I could squeeze it in 3d view.    Sorry for repeating  request . I ak for this  for decades.

Hello,

 

We agree with your request and have recently been discussing having parametric models in the 3D View for accurately previewing non-square textures and materials.

 

In the meantime, please note you can use the graph's Physical Size property in combination with the shader's 'UV Scale Enabled' property to scale the UVs to match the texture's ratio, as shown below:
