Community Beginner ,
Jan 03, 2024 Jan 03, 2024

A couple of my illustrator files which i saved in the cloud are not acessible anymore as they seem to be corrupted. I get the following error message.

Moreover I am not able download the files anymore to assess them locally.

I really need this to be resolved as it is urgently needed for a client.

That is the latest version, Omark.

There should be no problem opening files from older versions in the latest one.

Did you ever use a beta or prerelease version to save these cloud documents?

Maybe @Anshul_Saini can have a look at your files.

Nope, I never used any prelease or beta versions. Actually when I initially tried opening the file from the cloud files, there was some pop-up regarding updating links I think. I think I declined and then after that the file never opened again. I was actively working on this file until this happened. Then I tried opening another file and the same thing occured. Thats why I now have 2 corrupted files.

I was hoping to maybe download the files and then try opeining with another version of Illustrator but I cant even download the file without getting an error message.

I have the same experience when trying to open your files.

The latest version should always be able to open (older) cloud files.

I hope someone from the Illustrator team can have a look.

You can also try to contact Adobe Support:

@Ton Frederiks Thanks for the help. I created the documents in the same version of illustrator on the same computer and was working on them shortly before they got corrupted.

I have attempted to contact adobe support however the AI virtual assistant is never able to get me through to an agent. I will try to get intouch with them again.
