Most of the Data Set is working fine, until I used Photoshop to edit one of the image to be used in dataset, I saved it with the same name, not changing size and extension, but then this error will show if I try to select the dataset with updated image. The same files works if I relink the placeholder file manually. Any ideas how to troubleshoot?

Thanks for reaching out. Does it work if we try it on a new file?

I just made a new ai file and loaded the same csv, and the error I got are still there. I managed to get a few images working but I still don't see a pattern.

c1_039 works when I switch to a dataset that uses this image, but c1_009 won't work. It's also not the file name, as I tried duplicating c1_039 and set the name to c1_009 it will work, so it's something different within the file which I can't tell.

Thank you for sharing the details. It seems like the issue might be related to the specific image file itself rather than its name or format. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
Open both c1_039
and c1_009
in Photoshop and check their properties. Ensure that the color profile, bit depth, and resolution are consistent between the files.
Resave the Problematic Image:
c1_009
in Photoshop.c1_009_new.jpg
) with different compression settings.Convert to a Different Format:
c1_009
to a different format (e.g., PNG or TIFF).Simplify the Image:
c1_009
.Change resolution & file size: Export the file with 72ppi and try to keep it under 10MB to see if that helps.
If you have tried these steps and the issue persists, you might need to provide more specific details about the error message or share the problematic files with Adobe support for further investigation.

I'm trying a few things and most of the time it makes things worst (more files cannot be linked) and for some reason all files are working until I open photoshop and change another image. Here's another error that I face today which does not make a lot of sense to me.

And a different error when I convert to PNG...

This problem has started to affect my other illustrator file. There is something wrong with my system or photoshop. I have both Photoshop 2023 installed as well as the latest Beta version.

Thank you for the detailed information and for sharing the files.
Could you please try installing Illustrator 28.5 and Photoshop 25.9.1 to see if that resolves the issue? Additionally, are you using any third-party plugins in Illustrator or Photoshop? This information will help us in further troubleshooting.
In the meantime, we are checking with the product team to investigate this issue further.
Best regards,

I uninstalled all versions of Photoshop and Illustrator, and only installed Illustrator 28.5.

At Creative Cloud Manage Plugin, I see one plugin that I can install, which means I haven't install any plugin.
With the new Illustrator version, it seems that none of my images work anymore. I got this error below:
