Hi there,
I am new in illustrator and a bit lost about the artboard.
As you can see on the screenshot enclosed, I created an illustration that doesn't fit the white artboard frame. I don't really know if it's a pb or not, but in other work I have created, the illu was in one frame.
I think it's maybe because my document contains my reference photo(?)
Anyway, is there someone able to help me to fit my illustration into the white frame?
Because I followed some online tutorials and none have solved my issue so far, so I cannot even resize my work on the artboard options.
Many thanks
Delphine

You can just select all and then use the bounding box handles to scale the illustration.

Thanks for your reply. I tried that already but then I can see the frame beneath, as you can see on this screenshot

Then move the artwork back into the artboard so that it's in the center.

Or use the Fit Artboard to Selected Art option

Is easier to change the artboard size to match the artwork.
If you want to change the size of the art, you can only fit one dimension to the artboard. You can change that in the transform palette, but then you need to recenter, or change the reference point to top left then X & Y to 0.
