Illustrator Settings Fault

Can anyone shed light on why this is happening (see screenshot)?

I've checked display settings, reinstalled the programme, sworn lots, but without any success. And I can't change a damn thing in any of the settings.

 

Thoroughly frustrated!

Hello @sheriffofworksop,

 

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. We are here to help and would like to suggest trying to manually reset Illustrator's preferences, as suggested by Monika, using the steps shared in the community post. Additionally, try the following steps and check if it helps:

  • Close all Adobe applications
  • Navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP
  • Rename the UXP folder to UXP.old
  • Relaunch Illustrator

That title "app preference pane is sized too small to access settings" is very misleading...
