Question

After presentation mode InDesign resizes window (MacOS Ventura)

Hello everyone, I have a strange bug, that drives me crazy.

When I’m in the presentaion mode (shift w) and after I left it, the windows of InDesign is resizing small.

This happens also after a while when the machine was restarted.

And it only happens when the displays are connected.

I working on a MacBook Pro 16" M1 Pro in MacOS Ventura with two 4K displays.

So I think I got the bug (maybe).

If you change the UI-Size in the prefereces to small (left position 1) instead of the standard setting on position 2, the bug with the windows happens again. If I chage it back to position 1.

I attached two screenshots.

I don’t know why. I’m using two 4k 27" on a Macbook Pro.

I tried everything else.

In my case, if I revert to the original it crashes completely lol.

My specs are very similar to yours, MacBook Pro 14" 2021, Ventura 13.2, InDesign 18.1, but I don't have that problem.

I suspect that it's related to having two monitors. I see more bugs reported with this configuration. It could be an InDesign bug.

Maybe its a problem with magnet. its a window managing app.

I will test it.

Does the problem change if you turn off GPU acceleration?

I think, the GPU is here not the problem.
