Assessing reading level of text

Does anyone know of a way to assess the reading level of a document?

This should be done well before it gets placed in InDesign.

I'm not sure what to tell you then. By now you've learned that there's no native solution to this in InDesign and I highly doubt there will be.

Export or copy the text to MS Word.

Thanks...that's the only way I've found so far as well. Was hoping there was another way.

There are a number of online solutions too. I doubt any work directly with an InDesign file.
