Ah, sorry if I complicated things. The InDesign tools have tooltips that will display when you hover over them, unless they were disabled in Prefs > Interface > Cursor & Gesture Options > Tooltips. Here is a list of all of them for the next time this comes up.

Glad you are back on track.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for reaching out. We're glad to see you were able to find a solution.

In addition to the helpful suggestions given earlier, I'd recommend checking out this help article to know how you can manage pages and spread. Also, check out the default keyboard shortcuts of the InDesign here. Hope it helps.

Regards,

Ashutosh

Hi @defaultros7gk2084t6:

Are you trying to customize the paper size of one (or several) pages within an existing InDesign document without changing the others? It's a multi-step process that could be handled by a script, not a shortcut. I'll add the script tag so that the scripting folks will see this.

Hi Barb

Thanks for posting. I have a lot of different custom page sizes. Because I have so many sizes in the list, the custom page size option is only visible if I click down past all the sizes. Without creating a script I thought I could add it as a shortcut to save time.

Page tool - SHIFT+P is not what you looking for?

Yes it is! I feel stupid.

Thanks. Now to figure out what to do with these extra 5mins every day.
