[ Branched ] InDesign 2019 Keyboard shortcuts not working

This is an exact description of the problem I am having. Command, Shift, Option, Spacebar essentially do nothing, rendering InDesign useless.

    I went to InDesign Preferences > Interface > Enable Multitouch Gestures (disabled it)... then everything worked again.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out. As per your query, shortcuts with modifier keys don't work. This has been seen recently on macOS where Wacom tablet or pen is installed. Are you using the Wacom tablet? If yes, please try the following steps:

    1. Check the keyboard shortcuts without Wacom.
    2. If that works, kindly update the drivers to the latest version (6.3.34-2)
    3. If drivers are already up to date then disconnect the Wacom from MAC.
    4. Uninstall and Reinstall the Wacom driver.
    5. Once the drivers are installed then restart the computer (In this process Adobe apps should be closed)
    6. When the system is restarted, kindly connect Wacom with Mac computer and check the functionality using Wacom or Pen.

    If that doesn't help, check the performance in the safe boot (Start in Safe Boot mode for Adobe products on Mac OS X ).
