Buffer zones around text boxes
I've been using inDesign for a year and a half to design my small newspaper. Somehow, my finger hit something and it has changed two things that I cannot for the life of me figure out how to undo.
First, it has added buffer zones around every text box, photo & photo caption. So, for instance, I cannot place a story right below a headline because it wants a 1/4-inch buffer. Same with photo cutlines.
Second, I can no longer see the outline of my text boxes. This happened when I tried various ways to undo the buffer zone issue.
I know there's an easy answer to this, but cannot find it.
(This happened to me once before 8 months ago and there was something I had to unclick on every single text box in the upper right hand corner of the top toolbar. That box is no longer there and I've spent way to much time trying to undo what my fingers have done by accident.)
Thanks for any help.
