Business Card insert in a Trifold Brochure

Hello!

I am creating my first project in InDesign and I need help with creating business card slits in this trifold brochure! As you can see below, this is my basic template I am working with (information blocked out for privacy reasons ).  I want the business card to be placed where my spot color rectangle is currently.  My printer told me to "place the slits using any spot color, and the printer will delete the position lines before printing".  Can you please help me understand what my printer is saying and give me instructions to create these slits?!

Thank you so much in advance!!!

For the line slit color, use a spot color that isn't used anywhere else so the printer can remove it before printing, and also possibly use it as a die guide for cutting slits. For example, create a spot color named "card slits"  and use it to specify the lines where you want cuts. Don't use the color anywhere else in the document.

In addition, set the marks to multiply or overprint so they don't knock out the image under them.

make a line at a 45 degree angle, duplicate and flip, set them up how you want them in the layout, how you want. make a frame that measures the size of your business card so you can use it to help you set up what you want the way you want it. the lines will be use by the printer to cut in the gaps for your card to slide in. like in my screenshot.
