Hi NOOSHINRAD,

1) Go to your pages panel

2) Expand the top area in this panel to reveal all of the master pages

3) Select the master page you wish to change

4) Select the text and change it to your desired title

Hope this helps.

I wish I could pick more than one correct answer. If someone had a problem in the future I do suggest to read all the replies above since they were all very much helpful.

If the words on the Master are actually a variable, the way to change it would be to see what style it is looking for and then change that text in the document and assign the style to it.

Less ideal: hold down Command-shift and click on the text to unlock it locally (control-shift-click on a pc). Once unlocked you can edit the single instance on the page. The best advice though has already been given and that is to access the master pages via the pages panel and edit the text there.

I couldn't figure out the best advice mentioned, so THANK YOU for helping me fix a portfolio piece by advising me how to delete this years later! This is the most ideal solution for me 🙂

Or change it on the Master Page to the name of your publication.

Hi

A professional who sells such a template would use a variable to define the name of the publication! …

If not, … no more comment!

Hi,

Check the master page applied on this page. It will have the page number variable next to the title name.

If the master is based on some other master, you need to check this parent master page.

Jane …

No!  … 20 really different master pages not based on a pattern!!

So, 80 games!

Ah, a text variable or a Jedi trick then. Either one should work.
