Crashing on export

Engaged ,

I managed to get indesign to crash when exporting a pdf by impatiently clicking on a layer as it was in the process of exporting.

After several re-boots, several attempts of starting up Indesign and trying to recover/not recover and ignore recovery and waiting forever this to happen - I've come to the conclusion that the file I was working on cannot be opened and is beyond repair.

But accidentally clicking on a layer mid-export really shouldn't be that catastrophic. I'd like to test it further, but I just want to move on.

I'm marking this a big, coz it certainly aint no feature. 🙂

Hello @Ghoul Fool,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I tried replicating this behavior on my end but could not. Could you confirm the version of the OS/InDesign installed on your computer and if this happens with all files, so I can better assist you?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I've bravely tried to replicate it myself with no ill effects - layers getting toggled on an off whilst exporting.
