Hello Community! I am trying to create a fillable pdf that has spaces for an 18-character account number. After entering a number, I need it to go to the next space automatically, and then of course save it with the document. How can I create this? Thanks so much!

Make in InDesign normal text fields, but you have to make additional work in Acrobart Pro:

  1. Right Mouse Click > Properties
  2. Format Numbers
  3. Options: Deselect Spelling, desdelect scrolling
  4. Deseklct maximal numbers/digits
  5. Acitivate number of digits and insert the number of digits. (This will make a number comb for forms, all numbers fall in their place and more are not possible.

Thank you so much for your assistance! I did pull it up in Acrobat, created a text box, then clicked on the text box. Advanced properties allowed me to do exactly what I needed. Thank you so much
