Defining Custom Paths for Wrap Around Object Shape in InDesign

I’m currently working on a project in Adobe InDesign and I have a question about the “Wrap around object shape” feature. I would like to define the path for the text wrap myself within InDesign, without having to import a path from another program. Is this possible?

So far, I haven’t found a way to do this directly in InDesign.

Add "standard" path - then use Direct Selection Tool to move points.

You can also add new points.

There is also a way to add path(s) from other objects - use one object's path(s) as a TextWrap for another object...

I believe that I don’t really understand it, can you explain it with a screenshot or something?
