Graphics display issues with InDesign

Hi All

I am having a peristent issue with Indesign and sometimes Illustrator in that graphics don't display correctly or (particularly with InDesign) if I change the colour profile of a document (CMYK to RGB) it will not display the correct colours.

I get big red blocks of colour in place of images, phantom deleted assets apeparing in preview mode and then disapering in normal view and other gerneral glitchy things going on. I have attached the preferences for my InDesign and my mac spec in the files section of this chat.

I would really appreciate your help/opinion as my Mac Studio is only a year old and should (I think) be able to handle this with ease!!

Have you tried to turn off GPU Performance?

Hasn't helped with the colour issue, but does seem to have helped with the graphics display. Thanks! For context with the colours, I have two dps spreads on a document for print. The client then wanted an online digital version using their RGB colour palette which has a much brighter blue. On the document the first spread displays correctly and the second doesn't. But when I PDF the file both spreads are in the RGB palette.

I should say that I have meticulously gone throguh the document and have changed all colours, all connecting files to ensure none of the CMYK palette is still present.
