Hashtag/end of story at different heights in the same table

Hi guys,

 

Mac OS Catalina, newest version of Adobe Cloud CC

 

I've created a table with 1 row, 3 columns to insert two images side by side. Middle column is just for gutter. However the end of story hashtag symbols are at different heights for column 1 & column 3. Column 3 is correct but column 1 is much lower, resulting in me unabling to resize the table to fit the image heights without having the image in column 1 becomes overset. Both cell style and table style have no override. What are possible issues and how can I resolve them?

Do you plan to use also text in the cells with the graphics?

If not, simply convert the two text cells to graphic cells and place the images to the empty container frames of the graphic cells. Detailed tutorial here:
