Hi i got a tough one,

I discover that in my mac /var/folders/yw there are a lot of DBTmp(sequential numbers)

dating from 2015 to 2017. It takes so much space like 400 g. And i checked my regular recovery file are in their right place for indesign cc (user/library,etc).

Can i safely delete these?

Hi Agnes,

DBTmp files are ID recovery data files. Normally these would be in the InDesign Recovery Folder. You may delete these files if you can successfully open the corresponding InDesign files.

Hi Agnes,

The location you shared above didn't open Recovery folder at my end instead it opened Desktop.

Ah ok the folder /var is hidden the only way to go there is Go and go to folder and type /var. After that in folders there is a bunch of temporary files that normally delete after a startup. But these indesign recovery files won't.
