Question

How Can i export each page to a specific name and number, that is located on the page itself?

Basically i just want to export the page names themselves as i have two fields that control the page naming convention. This isnt a normal thing like a book, but for plans where i have a sheet set "W101 - GENERAL NOTES" "W102 - MATERIALS AND FINISHES"
Then i would like to have it generate just a .txt file of that info for every page. That way i can run this and it would give me a "Sheet Index" of every page and name.

Anyone know of something that would help like a script?

I don't quite understand. What do you want to export the pages as? PDF? So one PDF per page? And the name of each PDF should be based on text that appears on that page?

And then, as a second stage, a txt file containing a list of all the created filenames?

No i just want a TXT file of the names. Basically i eneterd the text in a text frame, and the Pages numbers show up in a text frame, i want to export that information as text. so i will have a text file that reads like this: (This is an actual thing i just had to do) In indesign it just lists the page number in the Pages palette (001, 002 etc) I have in the section given it a prefix of W so on the actual document it says W001. But there is also a "page name" we call sheet title that is entered in a seperate frame so when you print out that page .

How might we target the sheet name and sheet title in a script? Are they named text frames in your layers panel, a unique paragraph style, or some other unique way so we don't grab other text elements on the page?
