There is no version of any of the core Adobe Creative Cloud applications on the iPad—no InDesign, no Illustrator, no Photoshop, and so on.

There are iPad apps which handle simpler things—Adobe Capture, Adobe Draw, Adobe Comp, Photoshop Mix, and a few others.

Mobile devices like the iPad or Android tablets don't have the processing power, graphic card support, memory, or storage to perform complex operations like Photoshop or InDesign can perform.

    Hi Steve,

in the case of newer versions of iPad I do not agree.

See into Affinity Photo for iPad for example.

Of course it's a different user experience in comparison with the desktop version.

Being happy with Photoshop on my Mac, and only having an old, underpowered iPad, I haven't tried Affinity Photo.

But it's hard to imagine that it would have the power and flexibility of a desktop/laptop application.

Have you ever read a comparison of Affinity Photo vs. Photoshop capabilities?
