How to adjust the leading of lines within a bullet point

How do I adjust the leading of the lines belonging to each bullet point? Throughout the document I have an 18 leading but would like the few lines with each bullet point to have a 10/12 spacing. When I adjust using the properties tab it changes the whole document rather than highlighted text.  Please help!

Are you looking for this?:

If so, I set the leading to 12pt and the space after to 6pt. That gives a total of 18pt between paragraphs (leading plus space after), but only 12pt between lines within each paragraph.

You have to adjust the baseline shift. Use negative numbers to decrease it and positive numbers to increase it. Here is a link to another discussion explaining how. https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/bullet-point-adjustments/td-p/10886288?page=1

  1. Are you using Paragraph Styles?
  2. Could you post a screen shot that includes both your document and the values within the Properties panel that you are changing.
