How to combine two different tables

I have two tables, both tables have different widths. Not sure how to keep them as one table. But indepenant widths. See pic

one thing I did try is the pate one tale under the other table. How can I remove the space between the tables? See new pic


In first table do zero for space after, in the table below do zero for space before. Don't forget to play with stroke of cell that between tables to exclude thick line.

hm. I don't think your initial issue is really solved.

There are still two tables.

I never post to these things, and yet I read them all the time, thank you everyone who writes problem-solving info.

This made me hoot out loud, so happy when an annoying little thing that sends me over the edge is FIXED POOF like magic THANK YOU. Did I mention I hate Word. : )

You'll need to create more columns and merge some of the cells so that it looks like a single column.

How can I just change the width of table 2 and not adjust table 1
