How to find and view Open Recent file paths in Indesign
I've been working on an InDesign file that I've been opening from the menu of recent files. The last time I went to open it, I get a dialgue box that reads, "Either the file does not exist, you do not have permission, or the file may be in use by another application". Adobe had just updated from 18.5 to 19.0 (removing all older versions of Id if that makes a difference). I went to the network drive folder where it should have been stored, but it is not there. I'm wondering if I initially saved it to the wrong place. The file still shows up in File> Open Recent, but I don't see the actual file path that Adobe is tryign to use. Is it possible to view that path?
I followed the advice here: Solved: Find path to "Open Recent" in Indesign - Adobe Community - 12357710 but I was unable to view the paths using the methods presented. I tried opeing the SavedData file in notepad, notepad++, and TextEdit, but do not see any paths. I can rebuild my Id file, but I would at least like to know where I saved or where Id says it was looking for it.
