how to make the first selection of a Combo Box blank?

The client wants the box to not be filled (empty) when the PDF form is first opened.

I took a shortcut and used two spaces "  " to make the first field appear blank.

What is the proper way to do this?

Hi @coopjack,

 

Thanks for reaching out. To have the combo box appear blank when the PDF opens, try adding a new item in the List Items section, leave it completely empty, hit Enter, and move it to the top of the list. This should show the field as blank without needing to use spaces.
