Question

How to prove that i have created an InDesign file?

I need to prove that a number of InDesign files have been created on my iMac. I do not know how to do. I don't see anything proving this in the properties of the Indesign files.
Does somebody have an idea?

Open the file in question, and then (on a Mac) go to the InDesign menu and select About InDesign... BUT hold the command key down when doing this. This will reveal the following screen:

The part that you are interested in is the bottom left corner - Document History.

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!

I think Colin is right. I think only the computer which CREATED the file would show the "Created - yes" entry (although I haven't tested this).

I just tested this on a different Mac and the file retains the Created - Yes indication, so it's unclear what the message is referring to.

I'm not a copyright lawer, but I believe in the USA, any content created by an employee of a company, for said company, is owned by the company, not the employee (notwithstanding other contracts or agreements). If that is also the case in France, proof may be unnecessary. In addition, your InDesign file is date stamped with the creation date and modification date (File> File Info), if you have version of the file that is older than hers, that should be considered as proof* that she is not the originator of the work, although I suspect you have already considered this option.

*I suppose it would not be too difficult to fake this, but that would probably be a crime. (forgery)

You could try adding metadata to your document like author etc, so that it can be seen on any machine to verify who created the document. You can do this by adding the information in the document XMP. Have a look at the following article for more details.

It seems like a very strange question: Do you have some more meaning for "proving you are creating a file" than I'm understanding?

I will explain the context to understand.
We launched a magazine with my company last year. For the creation of this magazine we were working with an associate. Today she no longer works with us. And she decided to sue us by explaining that she was the creator of the magazine. However, all the graphic creation was done by me, on my mac and on my Adobe subscription. But I can't prove this...

The proof is that when you save the InDesign file, you can view it in your Macintosh operating system, and you can reopen the file successfully. Only you can do that.
