how to selection all footnotes

how to select all footnote text in one layout project containing hundreds of pages?
So far I can only select footnotes with numbers, I can't directly select all footnotes in my layout project for me to change, such as changing the font.
on my inDesign CS6, the Paragraph Style tool is not good enough to change all footnote fonts, have to manually...
can anyone provide a solution please?
