Please help!!

I'm trying to create a document that will be data merged. The data will include not just text, but images as well.

I have a rectangle frame placed over a text box, where an image of a signature will be placed (over the text of a letter). I have no text wrap applied to the rectangle frame.

When testing it by manually placing an image of the signature in the text box, every time I place the image, text wrap automatically gets applied. That's not going to work when I data merget the document.

How do I get text wrap to not be applied when an image is placed?

Thanks!

Hi @defaultgvpexn6bfo3x :

Here is a post that describes how to set and remove defaults in InDesign:

https://www.rockymountaintraining.com/adobe-indesign-setting-and-removing-defaults/

In your case, open the file and choose Edit > Deselect All. Disable text wrap in the Text Wrap panel. Then try placing the signature again.

Thanks so much, Barb!

The Edit > Deselect All and Disable text wrap method worked!

Thanks so much again!
