importing tables/spreadsheets with hyperlinks into indesign

Is it possible to import a spreadsheet from excel that has hyperlinks and those hyperlinks still work without them being visable in indesign... or am I stuck with manually adding each hyperlink?

Example:

This would be the column setup in spreadsheet:

Product name - product price - product description - hyperlink

This is how I would want it in Indesign - and the hyperlink work, if clicked on in the indesign table:

Product name - product price - product description

If it's not working, there is no setting in the InDesign interface to make it work. It's highly unlikely that the import filter for an Excel file was ever intended to bring in hyperlink information.

Are they by chance URLs? If so, you can use "Convert URLs to Hyperlinks" on the hyperlinks panel.

Diane-

That does work, but then the hyperlink shows.
