Hi Ganesh,
what does your Type > Find Font… dialog offer?

Hi
In InDesign preflight option we can find the OTF VAR font used in the InDesign document by Enabling the below option. Type 1 Multiple Master. Like that there is any option to find Opentype SVG font. If I enable OpenTypeCFF font it show OTF SVG font also other OTF.
Thanks

Hi Ganesh,
ah, thank you for pointing at the Multiple Master option to flag VAR fonts.
Which is rather strange, because technically "Type 1 Multiple Master" and VAR fonts are different technologies.
Good to know that a VAR font is flagged with "Type 1 Multiple Master" is checked at Preflight.
There is definitely something that the developers should add to Preflight: SVG fonts
You could make a feature request at InDesign UserVoice:
https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601021-adobe-indesign-feature-requests
Do that request and post the link of the request here so that everyone reading this thread here can vote for implementation.

Well, and of course one could write a script that would check for SVG fonts in the document.
But it should check that "permanently" while a user is working on a document. And that requires event handling features and would not run as smooth as InDesign's preflight in the background.

I wrote: "Well, and of course one could write a script that would check for SVG fonts in the document."
That was too optimistic. Currently I see no way to do that reliably.
Property fontType is too vague about it.
