Indesign crops number when importing an Excel spreadsheet

Hi everyone !

Pretty much everything is in the title. I often need to import big Excel spreadsheet with lots of numbers in it. I need to import them in Indesign, but it seems that everytime the number is above 1000, indesign crops it (for exemple, if I have "243000" in my Excel file, it will only put "243" in Indesign). It's doesnt always happen the same way though, but that's the only logic I could detect.
I tried importing it formatted, unformatted, it doesnt seem to change anything.

Right now, the only solution I found to avoir copying and pasting it manually is to convert my excel file to a text file with tabulations, copying the text in Indesign, and then turning the text into a table. However this does not always work with more complicated spreadsheets.

Does anyone have any clue why this happen ? I tried looking up if there is a default setting that impacts the number of decimal Indesign will import in a table, but I didnt find anything ...

Any insight would be appreciated !

Are those "cropped" values from cells that have formulas inside?

Can you try to copy your Excel sheet into new one - but "as values" then Copy&Paste or import again?

Can you strip any sensitive descriptions and only provide one sheet that contains such numbers. Maybe we can test it here?
