Everyone seems to recommend other tools, but I tried to draw the shape of the tree in InDesign.
I'm not good at painting, but I was able to draw this much.
The difficulty with InDesign was that I cannot paste on the back of the selected object.
you want to draw a tree in InDesign?
    Hang in there. (^0^)/

If all you have is InDesign, you can draw the tree with the Pen tool or by drawing shapes and using the Pathfinder.

    https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/compound-paths-shapes.html

You might use the same techniques in Illustrator, and it would be easier there. As others have said, you can copy the path from Illustrator to InDesign and edit it there.

If you find a tree that is vector from Adobe Stock, you can open it in Illustor and copy and paste it to InDesign. Placing it will make it an image instead of a frame that can be used to hold content, so it depends on how you want to use it.

    Copy it from Illustrator.

InDesign is used to make pages, but it is not used to make the graphics on the page  The graphics are made in another app and then File > Place is used. Pros are always switching between InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Ah, but the OP could counteract that there is no "Draw-a-Tree" tool in those applications as well! Maybe it's just hard for the OP to draw a good looking tree in general.

It's not *that* hard to do in InDesign, but it mainly depends on how you interpret "look lole a tree":
