Not sure what going on, cursor looks weird?

Tried going into PREFERENCES >> USER INTERFACE SCALING

restarting, then changing it back to small.

Indesign 19.5 (2024)

OS 13.7.1

Got it. Weird means too big. 😉

You can reduce the UI scaling in InDesign, which you said you tried, but did you enable Scale Cursor Proportionately? You might try it on and off (restart after each change).

You can play with the Display Settings in Apple menu > System Settings, but this will change the entire screen.

Or play with Pointer Size in Apple menu > System Settings which impacts the cursor size, but nothing else. I'm thinking this is what you're looking for.

Note that I have macOS Sonoma installed and not macOS Ventura, so my OS screen shots may look a bit difffernt.

Hi @default2o4km1iirzlj:

That's a normal Selection tool cursor when you aren't hovering over a frame on a Mac. What's weird about it?

The size is controlled by User Interface Scaling. Is it too large or too small?

Which of the selection arrows do you've active? Selection or Direct Selection?
