Indesign Page Turn Transition SWF only not HTML5

I noticed in latest version of Indesign the page turn transition, is only available as a flash animation, which sucks as it cant be played in other formats such as IPads, phones etc... is there a way around this? or maybe there is something than can be done so it works in HTML5.....I think its ridiculous that there is even a flash only interactive in a 2019 software in general

Any help on this would be appreciated

I don't know why you're getting so angry – we gave you honest options for you to accept or reject, Flash for example, is obsolete, it won't change (blame Steve Jobs).

In any case, I gave you about five alternative solutions for you to explore for producing digital publications (including page turn!).

Trust me, I am not getting angry

Just thinking its ridiculous some of comments i am getting back on this situation, not directly linking it with you Derek, more towards what the other two have said. People have nothing better to do than go on Help Forums and give opinions instead of solutions.. I am sure they think they are in the "comments section" in a youtube video

I really dont care if Page turn is annoying...I am using for a good reason and its what my client wants. End off

    I will find alternative solution

    They can want page turns.

As a customer, if I see a document with page turns, I decide I don't need the merchandise they are trying to sell and move on. They are super annoying.

    Flash is an obsolete format.

Page flips become irritating for the reader after a while and a bit yesterday but if you must have it try

PDF to Flipbook - FREE 7 Day Trial - Instant Flipbook

Alternately and recommended for ebooks try PDF, FXL ePub, InDesign's Publish Online, Issuu, or in5 Digital Magazines, Mobile Apps, Web Banner, Microsites, & more from InDesign with in5 - Home

    Hello Derek

So why is Adobe still having Interactive Elements in the software that are Flash only? I know its obsolete.

Page turns is what my clients wants.

I understand that there other software that can do this, but you have to pay for it. Just a shame to pay for another bit software when Indesign should be able to do it, well offers to do it but only swf format "rolls eyes"

Stuff comes and goes, for example DPS has gone, Publish Online has come in.

That Flash has become obsolete is hardly Adobe's fault!
