Hi everyone,

I'm trying to remove the number "1." indesign is putting automatically in front of the toc's title. Deleting the title also doesn't help and the number is fixed and can't be deleted. Can anyone help?

Thanks and greetings!Bildschirmfoto 2023-11-27 um 12.02.54.png

Just to follow up: it's common to use the same style for a "Contents" heading as for chapter headings. The result is a recursive TOC that includes "Contents" as a element. The solution is to use a variant (child) style for "Contents" so that the TOC scan doesn't include it.
