Hi all,

I have tried to launch my Indesign recently and got an error window. I tried to unistall then reinstall, update and even Shirft+Ctrl+Alt on opening the app to delete prefernces. Unfortunatly no luck.

I use Windows 10 and InDesign 17.4.2 (had same issue with older versions) my laptop is not compatible with the new version so going 18.5 is not an option

Thanks

Try to update your Creative Cloud app - the latest update may fix this bug.

Otherwise, revert to InDesign 17.4.

This might sound like an idiotic question but where would the Creative cloud app update be? All I see in my Desktop C Cloud App is updates for other Apps

Leo that link thread did the trick thanks for sending it on!

Basically this is an global issue at the moment an Adobe are aware of it. Not sure of any more details.....

Here is the solution from Adobe Support Team for the moment that worked for me

Rename folder "UXP" to "UXP.OLD":
- Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\UXP.OLD
