Issue with JPEG Export in Adobe InDesign – Lines Appearing on Images

I am experiencing an issue with Adobe InDesign when exporting documents to JPEG format.
Lines appear on the images, as if the photos are being "sliced" or "cut."

I have tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:
– Changing the resolution of the images individually
– Adjusting the export resolution settings in InDesign
– Modifying other export and display settings

Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Interestingly, when the same file is exported on another computer, it works correctly, and no lines appear.
This problem occurs with all my InDesign files on my system.

Could you please help me identify what might be causing this and how to resolve it? I have already searched online for solutions, but none have worked so far.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

What are your versions of InDesign and the operating system? Also, do I understand correctly that there are no issues exporting to other formats such as PNG or PDF?

Windows version: Windows 11 Home 24H2, OS Build 26100.4652
InDesign version: 20.4.1

When exporting to JPEG and PNG, lines appear on the images, but everything looks fine in PDF.
When I convert from PDF, the result has no lines.

What file type are the images when you place them in InDesign.
Did you have objects with transparency applied?

File type: JPEG
Transparency is not applied to the photos, but there are objects with transparent backgrounds, and sometimes semi-transparent objects as well.

Do the lines appear, if you remove those objects?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
