Last lines alignment within spread in book: is it possible to script it?

Hello,

i was searching entire site for the answer, if it's possible to script alignmenting last lines of paragraph within spread in document? It should be very useful for formatting whole book, and be huge time-saver. Normally each paragraph has paragraph style with "keep options" applied, and every page with this happenening is forced to correct manually with tracking option. Does any script doing this automatically exist?

Any advice or help will be very appreciated! Thank you

I understand what you are trying to say - but my problem is different! Leaving column with last line shorter than column of another page isn't a good solution (it's just forbidden due to typography rules). And yes, making this paragraph an entire line shorter would make this page uglier! But we can make the last paragraph of left page looser, and than we'll make another line, so last lines of both pages will be even - with this Keep Options defined. Of course, image that i sent is only example (placeholder text) for situations within entire books.

So my question is, does any automatic solution (plugin/script) for this situation really exist? For example, script making every last paragraphs of page looser (or tigher) depending on situation of the next page? Maybe it's too much for scripting, or maybe i don't know some principles ?

I don't think "alignment" is the correct phrase to look for. Usually, "alignment" is Left, Center, Right, or Full (and a few others) -- why would you want to change that?

You posted an image of a problematic page. What and where would you manually change it to fix?

You're right, my fault and mistake! I was thinking about setting up last line on the left page and last line on the right page to be on the same height, automatically, without manual changing space between words or characters BUT also with "keep options" preserved (if it's possible).

Here is another image of my 'keep options' of body text panel.

"Alignment" isn't word that i was looking for ... Don't want to change this either!

To move those two lines back the the left hand page: look at the length of that last line. It is possible to make the paragraph an entire line shorter, but it would take so much tracking that I would not recommend it -- this would be even uglier than what you have now! ("Uglier" is a relative term. It is perfectly acceptable to have a page one or more lines short, rather than having an orphaned single line on the next page. That is exactly why you can define those Keep Options to prevent it.)

A script would essentially do the same thing as you would do manually to solve it. So, again, how exactly would you manually fix this page?
