Page numbering not counting the last pages

I have a 20-page document with facing pages, some have A-master  and some "none" applied to them. No manually added sections anywhere. For some reason, the document stops counting the pages after 16. After 16, the page numbering appears "17 of 16" etc.  What to do?

Can you try IDMLing - export as IDML, open, save with a new name - do not overwrite your original file.
