Problem with low quality image in indesign (it's already set at High Quality view)

Hello everyone

So i have this problem with my indesign file, all the images are low quality even when i set them at high quality preview and when i export them as pdf file. As you can see in attached file, effective ppi and image resolution are high. What could it be? Also i am missing images from my computer that are included in this file and there is bunch of errors. Is that the reason?

Thanks in advance

Correct answer SJRiegel

When the images are missing (as shown in your screen shot), the InDesign does not have the full-resolution file to refer to, so it cannot render a high-quality preview. Once you find and re-link the images to the document, your previews will better-reflect the actual resolution of the images.

Need to see the image, but most likely thing I can think of is the images were upsampled to get the effective resolution -- and that seldom works.
