"Error creating temporary record definition sheet"

I get this upon opening Indesign 2024. The error just came from nowhere. My InDesign was working fine one day and the next morning that's what I get.

The Plugins I have currently is Design Merge. I am on mac OS Ventura 13.5.2

I could not work on anything right now.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hi Robet, yeah that's what I end up doing. In the beginning I thought it was the XMPie plug-in, so I removed it and it still gave me the error. This time I did delete the Design Merge and now it works!!

My InDesign is updated so maybe something on the update did not work with the Design Merge plug in.

I don't need it - I just googled what it does - I've created way better tool.
