In the document is a reference to several  example scripts ... where can I find those script?

Download the scripting sdk from the following url, it should have these scripts

I made following download:

However... in those downloads I can not find scripts named in de PDF (Guide), like:

AddText
StoryAndTextFrame (and so on... more / eg. page 69)

named in CHAPTER 5: Text and Type (Guide)

Download the CC2020 version of the sdk, i see these scripts present in that zip

I was looking for script related at my version of InDesign CS6, so I looked in older versions.
