Save as frozen and not working

Whenever I try and save as my work to my laptop is freezes and I cant close the application unless I close it in task manager. It is version 20.4 InDesign on a windows laptop

It seems the problem solved itself. It is now working. I just uninstalled and reinstalled InDesign and now it works.

Could you check if InDesign behaves this way with all files, or when saving to a different folder location, so I can better assist you?

Also, try running InDesign under Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and checking if it helps?
