Hello all.  I'm wondering if there is a way that a table's column and rows can be switched in a table, i.e. make current column headers into the rows and vice versa?

There's an existing script all right:

Hm,

do you want to switch cell properties like fill, stroke, insets as well?

And how about cell widths and cell heights?

Are there any header and footer rows?

Regards,
Uwe

You can do that easily in Excel with Select > Copy > Paste Special > Transpose, but InDesign does not have that feature.

You can put in a feature request here: Adobe InDesign Feedback

or take it into Excel

or retype it

or maybe someone will say it can be done with a script. And maybe even tell you how to do it with the script.
